Chilli Garlic And Lime Mogo Chips

We all have a weakness once it involves a snack, do not we tend to simply love cooked snacks? The flavours, the crunch and also the aroma of cooked food build anyone weak at knees.

Chilli Garlic And Lime Mogo Chips

Mogo Chips:

  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 TBSP. lime  juice
  • 500g mogo 
  • 2 ltr. water

Masala Mix:

  • 1 tsp. oil
  • Pinch dried chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp. lime zest

Garnish and Serve:

  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Lime wedges
  • Tomato ketchup or similar sauce

Mogo Chips:

  1. In a big pan add water and all the mentioned ingredients except mogo chips.
  2. Bring it to boil.
  3. Add mogo chips and boil till done. ( It will take 8-10 minutes )
  4. Drain the water and let the mogo chips cool for 7-8 minutes.

Masala mix:

  1. Stir in all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add cooled mogo chips and mix. 
  3. Make sure all the chips are well coated. 
  4. Place chips in the air fryers basket.

Air fry the mogo chips:

  1. Preheat the cosori air fryer for 5 minutes on 205C.
  2. Once the fryer is ready, put chips in the basket and cook it on press the preset function 'Root Vegetables' 
  3. The machine will automatically set the time and temperature.  
  4. It will be on 205C for 12 minutes.
  5. The SHAKE reminder will come halfway through cooking.
  6. Shake the basket for even cooking and again start cooking the chips.
  7. Once done, remove the chips.
  8. Serve HOT on a serving plate, garnish it with coriander and serve with lime wedges and sauce.
